Co-Founder + Chief Executive Officer

Doug Crawley serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of DSL as well as president and CEO of Staffing Synergies. He is responsible for the overall planning, directing, organizing and controlling of the company operations for both entities. He has over 40 years of management and related entrepreneurial and military leadership experience. He has served as an executive for two Fortune 100 companies and has previous packaging experience as an executive vice president of a multi division filling and distribution company. In addition, he is president of several other entrepreneurial and non-profit entities. He is the founder and a volunteer of the MOST (Mentoring Our Students Together) Program, which is an after school collaboration between his church and the local school district to provide mentoring, tutoring and recreational activities for students in grades four through twelve.

Doug is a veteran who served as a navigator/flight instructor in the U.S. Air Force and was discharged with the rank of Captain. During his seven years of military leadership, he flew 185 combat missions during the Vietnam Conflict. Doug brings the discipline, character and honor that earned him the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Medal.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, an MBA and a Doctor of Ministry degree.

George H. Hill

Co-Founder

George H. Hill, Chairman & CEO of Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc., is a native Detroiter. He attended Cass Technical High School and Wayne State University where he received a B.A. in Political Science in 1962 and did graduate work in Political Science, Business and Law. He began his career at Michigan Bell Telephone in their marketing department and held several positions thereafter as an employment manager and a manager of commercial accounts. In 1968, he joined Chrysler Corporation as a labor relations specialist and stayed in the human resource function in management development and recruitment until 1971 when he went into business with a long-time school and college friend. Because of his position in Detroit’s black community, his exposure to the media while at Michigan Bell, and his knowledge of employment problems, George was approached by Detroit’s W.J.B.K. TV, a CBS affiliate, to host Job Opportunity Line in 1968. It was the first instance of a Black person on a regularly scheduled TV show in the Detroit area.

George Hill and his partner started Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty chemicals, in 1970, in the back of George’s home in Detroit, Michigan. After many years in business together, George is now sole proprietor of Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc. The parent company is comprised of three operating companies: Adhesive Systems, Inc., Diversified Chemical Technologies, Inc. and Paperworks, Inc. The facilities consist of three plants located in Detroit and Highland Park, Michigan.
